TailorMade increases presence in the U.S. and opens office in New Jersey
After 15 years in the European market, TailorMade will now increase its focus on the markets in the U.S. TailorMade provides billing products and services for the Energy and Utility industries and sees great potential in the U.S. With increased environmental/conservation awareness the energy issue is becoming more and more relevant to consumers, regulators and companies within the industry, driving new, innovative billing solutions to meet the new demands.
We see several reasons to increase our in the U.S:
- We’re in a very exciting phase of expansion in Tailor Made where we continuously add new products and services to our offerings. Our focus on solutions for the new era of Smart Grids takes us to the parts of the world which are the most developed and mature in this area. Targeting the U.S. market is in line with our overall strategy. We focus on the consumer benefits and ways for the Utilities to increase revenue and customer loyalty and at the same time with more automation and lower cost. The U.S. market is experiencing ever growing focus on consumption patterns on the part of the end-use customers and the Smart grid investments are moving forward based on sound business decisions and clear return on investment. That fits us very well. The establishment of the new office in New Jersey allows us to reach a large potential market and be closer to our customers, states Jens Björkman, CEO of TailorMade.
Jeff Valadez will be heading up the new office as Business Development Executive. Jeff brings over 16 years experience in the energy and utility industry having served in sales & business development roles for Orcom Solutions, SPL WorldGroup, Oracle, and Tantalus.
- Jeff states: “I believe that TailorMade’s potential to capture market share in the North American market is enhanced by the product line’s modular structure in-line with energy providers wishing to limit cost and risk in deploying billing solutions. Further, TailorMade’s strong participation in the innovative Scandinavian market provides a fresh approach that I believe will be quite relevant to the new challenges in the energy & utility sector.”
